RedHavoc.co.uk has finally gone live! After a ridiculous amount of time, delays and changing my mind about so many aspects of it, I have finally decided to publish it publicly accessible. Not 100% finished yet, a few sections still need some work, but at this stage it is easier to test if its actually up. So no official announcements yet!

Finally got around to giving my website a new lease of life. This is the first update of any sort for about a year. The site is currently in Beta stage whilst I play around with ideas, and get feedback on it all. Expect it to be finished within the week, and lots and lots of new content and information to come soon!

I am currently working on my final year degree project RedHavoc Live, featuring a culmination of all of my skills from the past few years including VJing, live electronics, MIDI controlled virtual instruments, visuals and lighting, film, live drums and more! It will be performed in the Rymer Auditorium on Friday 27th April, 2007 at 17:00. Invitation only.

I recently performed in The University of York Battle of the Bands competition with my band Continuum and with a new live drum n bass act Tape Pack. Following from this Continuum (new MySpace here) went on to record Moby Dick, one of our new songs. We also went on to win by competition a support slot for Mr. Scruff at the 2007 Beach Break Live music festival in Cornwall.

RedHavoc is freelance Filmmaker, Digital Artist and Musician Nezih Savaşkan.

This website is an online portfolio - a place where I can collect, and display all the work I do in music, film, digital arts, graphic design and more. It also provides an opportunity to promote my professional services.

I specialise in music video production, short film production, innovative audio/visual installations and digital arts performances, film visual effects and motion graphics. Please feel free to browse the site to see examples of my work, and do contact me with any general questions or for project commissions.

You will also find on this site, mainly for archival purposes, all my music production work, along with my graphic design and web design work - which I partially maintain as a hobby.

Recently graduated from The University of York with a BA Hons in Music (studying contemporary classical music, history of jazz and pop and electronic music and digital composition for live performance).

Drummer and percussionist, recently playing with my band (split due to logistical reasons), Continuum a 10-piece trip-hop/electronica/jazz group, regular live and recording sessions with many other bands and ensembles, and a strong background history of orchestral percussion playing with the LSSO (going on two tours with prestigious conductors to France and Japan) and in my University Symphony Orchestra.

I also have a lot of experience as a Lighting Technician, having worked in theatre for several years and more recently as the Technical Manager of YUSU EntsTech at York, where I worked as a Lighting Designer / Operator on a huge range of large club nights, mini-festivals, touring band gigs, formal balls, and more. I also worked as a crew member with GallowGlass Crew on various top end corporate events, car launches, opening ceremonies and gigs.

I enjoy BMXing/Windsurfing/SCUBA Diving/Swimming/Extreme Sports, Short Film/Animation/Movies/Cinema, Art/Design/Photography/Architecture, Music (of all styles), Good Beer/Good Food/International Cooking, Traveling, my Family, my Friends, Life, the Universe, and Everything.
